Mykonos Town Greece

Marietta’s holiday complex lies in scenic Mykonos Town (or Mykonos Chora), just 50 metres from the crystalline beach, the renowned Little Venice, and the majestic windmills. Restaurants, shops, and bars are within a close range while the bus stop is only 80 metres away. The nearest beach is within 50 metres, the beautiful old Mykonos harbour is at 300 metres, and the Mykonos airport is no more than 1,5 km away. As for the famous Psarou beach, you will find it some 4 km further from the complex.

Mykonos Town deeply impresses and entices guests at first glance. The charming cobbled streets with the whitewashed buildings and the cubic-shaped houses create a spectacular and magical backdrop. What is more, the imposing windmills, the captivating Little Venice, and the chapels with the red domes can literally blow you away with their unsurpassable allure.

Little Venice of Mykonos Town

One of the most photographed areas in Greece, Little Venice is an utterly beautiful and picturesque Mykonos town neighbourhood and, perhaps, the most popular area in the Chora. Chosen to house the homes of wealthy merchants and rich ship owners and captains of the mid-1800s, Little Venice steals impressions with its unique architecture, the colourful balconies literally hanging over the edge of the water, and the graphic windows, giving a flair of the delightful Italian city of Venice – hence, the name!

At Little Venice, you can enjoy one of the most mesmerising sunsets and spectacular views of the Aegean Sea. What a remarkable picture to take back home! Little Venice is also known as Alefkandra (derives from the Greek word for “bleach”) from the white sea foam that showers the area when the northern winds blow. Marietta’s holiday complex is 50 metres from Little Venice. You may choose almost any of the provided types of Mykonos accommodation, including Marietta’s Mykonos rooms and Marietta’s Mykonos studios, and enjoy unique views of the captivating sight.

Mykonos Windmills

The most popular windmills are located between the captivating Little Venice and the neighbourhood of Neochorio at Mykonos Town Greece. Also referred to as Kato Myloi, the Mykonos windmills impress with their awe-inspiring look and the beautiful images they create, as they stand proudly right next to the sea.

Marietta’s guests can enjoy the magnificent view of the Mykonos windmills and the romantic Mykonos sunset from Marietta’s Mykonos suites and the other Mykonos accommodation types available.

Mykonos Beaches

During your stay, the numerous stretches of sand with the cobalt waters will enable you to savour endless hours of ultimate composure and relaxation. The western side of the island, near Mykonos Town, is home to the shores of Agios Stefanos and Megali Ammos, along with the beaches around Little Venice.

Heading south, you will be greeted with Psarou, Agios Ioannis, Ornos, Platis Gialos, and Paraga beaches, followed by the party-meccas – Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach. If you decide to visit the south-eastern coast, the shores of Kalafatis, Kalo Livadi, Elia, and Agrari will be waiting to please you with their charms. Finally, the northern side of Mykonos is home to Panormos and Ftelia beaches – also worth visiting.
